In short: we collect only what we need to track and pay your cashback and to answer your messages. We don’t sell your data, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
VOUCHERA (“VOUCHERA”, “we”, “us”) runs the cashback and rewards website at vouchera.in. We are based at Tronglaobi Tidim Road, Manipur, India, and you can reach us at support@vouchera.in. For the personal data described here, VOUCHERA is the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name and email address when you write to us.
- Claim details — store name, order ID, order date, order value and any order confirmation you choose to share for a missing cashback claim.
- Payout details — the UPI ID you give us for a withdrawal.
- Messages — anything you include in emails or the contact form.
Information from partner stores and affiliate networks
When you shop through a VOUCHERA link, the store or its affiliate network reports transaction details to us, such as the store, order reference, date, order value, commission and status. We do not receive your card details, UPI PIN, bank passwords or the items’ delivery address.
Technical information
Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request) to keep the website secure and running. When you click Shop, the store or affiliate network may set its own cookies to attribute your purchase to VOUCHERA; those cookies are governed by their privacy policies.
3. How we use your information
- To track, confirm and pay your cashback.
- To investigate missing cashback claims with stores and affiliate networks.
- To reply to your questions and requests.
- To prevent fraud, misuse and duplicate claims.
- To keep records required by law, such as payout and accounting records.
We process your data with your consent, which you give when you share it with us for these purposes, and for other legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, such as complying with the law. We do not use your data for automated decisions that significantly affect you, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only when needed to provide the service:
- Partner stores and affiliate networks — order details needed to verify a purchase or a missing cashback claim.
- Payment services — your UPI ID and payout amount, to send your cashback.
- Service providers — website hosting and email providers that process data on our behalf.
- Authorities — when required by law, court order or to protect rights and prevent fraud.
5. Cookies and other websites
The VOUCHERA website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Stores and affiliate networks you visit through our links use their own cookies to track purchases. Blocking those cookies may stop your cashback from tracking. Their websites are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, until your cashback is paid and any related claim is closed. Payout and transaction records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting laws. After that, we delete or anonymise the data.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable security safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to personal data and trusted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India of a personal data breach as required by law.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update your data.
- Ask us to erase your data when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect processing already done, but we may be unable to pay cashback that depends on it.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, approach the Data Protection Board of India.
To make a request, email support@vouchera.in or use the privacy request form from the email address you use with us. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
9. Children
VOUCHERA is meant for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Grievances
For any privacy concern or complaint, write to us at support@vouchera.in with the subject “Privacy grievance”, or by post to VOUCHERA, Tronglaobi Tidim Road, Manipur, India. We will acknowledge your grievance and respond within the time required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will highlight it on the website.
